Especially a good deal for the $99/yr of you have multiple systems. The subscription is nice for management and the added cloud services. You likely want Office Home and Business (if going retail instead of subscription) which can be had for around $230. You can’t even buy ProPlus - it’s only through the VLSC or Office 365. It does not cost $500 for what you likely need. You’ll need a new copy, unless you already have Office 365 on the Mac. There is a home edition of the Apps for Business that costs the same ($99/yr). If you only need one system and no email, this is the way. You can also get the personal (home) for $69/yr for a single install. You can have 5 installs on the “Apps for business” subscription.
